What You'll Do
- Execute welding operations using FCAW, SMAW, and TIG processes to join pipe systems and structural components for passenger vessels
- Fabricate and assemble pipe sections according to detailed blueprints and engineering specifications
- Perform fit-up work to align and secure components before welding
- Conduct quality testing and inspections to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy
- Read and interpret complex technical blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to maintain project schedules and safety standards
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated expertise in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications accurately
- Experience in shipbuilding, marine construction, or heavy fabrication environments
