About the Role

As the Director of Finance and Accounting, you'll serve as the property's chief financial strategist and business partner. Your leadership will guide all accounting operations, financial planning, and fiscal management to support our mission of exceptional guest service and a thriving workplace for our team members.

What You'll Do

• Lead all accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely insights for strategic decision-making
• Develop and manage comprehensive annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections aligned with brand standards
• Direct accounting staff and collaborate with department heads to optimize costs, identify efficiency opportunities, and drive profitability
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and all Marriott Hotels Resorts policies and procedures
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, and working capital optimization
• Prepare detailed financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports to inform executive leadership decisions
• Partner with property leadership to evaluate revenue opportunities and improve overall financial performance

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA or equivalent credential preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in hospitality finance or property-level accounting management
• Expert proficiency in general ledger management, financial analysis, and budget development
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial systems; hotel property management systems experience a plus
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting tight deadlines
• Commitment to accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement in all financial operations
