About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified agency, is looking for a skilled CVOR registered nurse to join a respected facility in Asheville, Buncombe County. This full-time travel position runs for 13 weeks, beginning July 13, 2026, with day shifts scheduled at 8 hours each and a 40-hour weekly commitment. It's an excellent opportunity for a cardiovascular RN who thrives in fast-paced perioperative and pre-operative settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess patients prior to cardiovascular operating room procedures
• Provide attentive, high-quality nursing care throughout the pre-operative phase
• Coordinate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and CVOR staff to ensure smooth case readiness
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changing clinical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold established safety and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license valid for practice in North Carolina
• Demonstrated experience in CVOR or cardiovascular pre-operative nursing
• Availability for the full 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, working 8-hour day shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication in a surgical environment
• Willingness to travel to Asheville, Buncombe County for the duration of the contract
