Performance Marketing Manager, Paid Search

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential marketplace organization in a search for a Performance Marketing Manager, Paid Search. This is a hybrid role based in Aix-en-Provence, France, where you will drive growth and profitability through expertly managed paid search campaigns. You'll work on high-impact initiatives connecting both sides of a thriving two-sided marketplace while exploring new opportunities to innovate and expand.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns day-to-day, ensuring maximum profitability and return on ad spend
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, run ad copy tests, and analyze performance to continually improve campaign results
• Partner with Product and Analytics teams to implement advanced reporting and surface actionable insights
• Monitor industry trends, test new strategies, and explore untapped opportunities for paid search growth
• Leverage AI tools and automation (such as Claude-based workflows and Google Ads Scripts) for campaign monitoring, reporting, and anomaly detection to work more efficiently
• Drive data-driven experimentation and innovation in a key European market

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years of experience in Paid Search Marketing, specifically with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
• Proven experience with budget management, bid optimization, and performance tracking
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with display or video advertising is a plus
• Familiarity with marketplace management is beneficial
• Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques is advantageous
• Comfort working with AI tools and automation scripts to accelerate reporting and analysis is highly valued

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €50,000 - €65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a hybrid work arrangement with home office set-up allowance and flexible work-from-abroad options.
