Part-Time Special Needs Caregiver (DSP)

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Blue Springs, MO to deliver compassionate, skilled care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the comfort and community of their own homes.

You'll join BAYADA Home Health Care as part of our dedicated care team serving the Blue Springs area, with work primarily conducted in clients' homes and their local communities. Core Duties

• Provide direct, compassionate support to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and participate in daily activities
• Work independently in clients' homes and community settings, demonstrating reliability and sound judgment
• Arrange and provide transportation for clients to participate in community activities, appointments, and social outings
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household routines as directed by care plans
• Support clients' community integration and foster their independence and personal growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with your care team and clinical support

What You Bring

• Minimum one year of verified, direct work experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Valid driver's license with reliable access to transportation
• Genuine passion for providing compassionate, person-centered care
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varied settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to dignity, respect, and the independence of the individuals you support
