Certified Nursing Assistant – Home Health Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver compassionate, hands-on care to clients throughout the Reisterstown area and surrounding Baltimore County and Baltimore City communities. As a CNA, you'll work in a rewarding full-time position providing direct patient support that helps individuals receive quality medical care in their own homes.

The Opportunity

This full-time Certified Nursing Assistant role operates Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with one-on-one patient assignments in home settings. You'll be a valued member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with nurses, therapists, and other professionals to support your patients' independence and quality of life. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene needs
• Provide support with toileting, nail care, and other personal care tasks
• Guide clients through range of motion exercises and assist with walking and mobility
• Safely perform patient transfers using mechanical lifting equipment when appropriate
• Help prepare meals and assist clients with eating as needed
• Monitor and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
• Manage home-based tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning, and bed maintenance
• Support medication management and reminders under clinical staff direction

Requirements

• Current, active certification on the Maryland Nurse Aide Registry in good standing
• Minimum one year of hands-on caregiving experience
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Clear criminal background check
• Strong English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
• Access to reliable, dependable transportation
