Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage vessel operations from cargo loading to discharge, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate vessel vetting processes, including inspections and vetting for cargo nominations.
• Develop and implement operational plans to optimize voyage execution and minimize costs.
• Monitor laytime and demurrage exposure, proactively resolving issues to reduce financial risks.
• Handle cargo insurance matters, ensuring proper coverage and claims management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil trading or related operations roles.
• Strong understanding of vessel operations, voyage planning, and cargo handling processes.
• Familiarity with laytime and demurrage calculations and management.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
