Nursing Supervisor – ICU

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a full-time Nursing Supervisor to lead clinical operations and nursing excellence in our intensive care unit. This hands-on leadership role oversees direct patient care delivery, nursing staff performance, and unit-wide coordination—all while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical outcomes. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.

About the Role

As a Nursing Supervisor – ICU at Tenet Healthcare, you'll provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for one or more critical care units. Your supervisory responsibilities span staff management, care quality assurance, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure patients receive seamless, compassionate, high-quality nursing care.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel and clinical activities across assigned patient care units
• Verify that patient needs are met and provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care
• Evaluate nursing care quality, clinical performance, and adherence to established protocols and standards
• Participate in workload planning and resource allocation for assigned units
• Coordinate with physicians, other departments, and clinical teams to support integrated patient care
• Plan, develop, and deliver professional development and training programs for nursing staff
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Proven supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of intensive care nursing and patient acuity management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop nursing teams
• Commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based practice
