.NET Software Developer (m/w/d) – AI-gestützte Produktentwicklung

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential Microsoft cloud services provider seeking an experienced.NET Software Developer to join their development team in Frankfurt. You will build and enhance their customer-facing cloud platform and backend automation systems that enable clients to provision and manage Microsoft cloud services through self-service portals.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing new features for cloud marketplace and customer portals, including subscription booking flows and management interfaces for end users and resellers
• Building and maintaining provisioning processes—sync jobs, batch workers, and automation that provision, modify, and bill Microsoft 365, Azure, and hosted email services
• Integrating external systems via REST APIs (Microsoft Graph, Partner Center/CSP, third-party security platforms, and ERP systems), including authentication, webhooks, and robust error handling with retry logic
• Implementing features using Claude Code and AI coding agents: preparing context, delegating implementation tasks to agents, and critically reviewing generated output
• Contributing to shared project knowledge and Claude Skills documentation so insights become reusable for the team and AI agents
• Evolving the jobs and queue platform built on Azure Service Bus and Docker/ACR to ensure reliable large-scale processing with traceable error handling
• Increasing test coverage in critical areas such as provisioning, license assignment, and billing, verifying changes before production deployment
• Taking ownership of technical quality—scrutinizing AI-generated code with the same rigor as handwritten code

The tech stack centers on modern.NET (primarily.NET 8+), C#, Blazor, Minimal APIs, and Microsoft Azure, with some legacy services on.NET Framework 4.8.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Multiple years of hands-on software development experience with C# and.NET, especially in web and backend development on production systems with complex business logic
• Practical experience with modern.NET applications (.NET 8 or newer preferred)
• Demonstrated experience implementing features with AI coding tools or AI agents that go well beyond autocomplete or single-line suggestions. While Claude Code experience is ideal, what matters most is that you know how to prepare tasks for coding agents, guide implementation, and verify results
• Commitment to understanding generated code before it reaches production—you review critically, add tests to safeguard important functions, and take responsibility for outcomes
• Solid T-SQL skills, strong understanding of data models, and practical experience with an ORM such as NHibernate or Entity Framework
• Experience integrating REST APIs, including authentication and webhooks, with attention to retries, timeouts, and idempotency for robust integrations
• Fluent German and English

Nice to have:

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and self-service applications, subscription models, and billing systems
• Cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure (Service Bus, Functions, Key Vault, Managed Identity, App Insights/OpenTelemetry, Docker)
• Worker and queue-based architectures with resilient background processing
• Microsoft cloud domain knowledge: CSP/Partner Center, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, GDAP, NCE, PowerShell, Exchange
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
• Claude Skills, MCP servers, or other AI-assisted software development automation
