Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) is hiring a full-time NDT Level II Advanced Technician specializing in Eddy Current Testing (ET), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), and borescope inspection in Ensley, Escambia County.
About the Role
Join a team of skilled professionals performing nondestructive testing and inspection services across manufacturing, power generation, aerospace, medical, and defense industries. This position requires expertise in multiple advanced NDT methods to ensure component integrity, compliance, and safety. You'll work on critical inspections where accuracy and attention to detail directly impact client outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Conduct eddy current testing to detect surface and near-surface flaws in ferrous and non-ferrous materials
- Perform phased array ultrasonic testing for thickness measurements, flaw detection, and welds assessment
- Execute remote visual and borescope inspections in confined or hard-to-access areas using advanced optical equipment
- Document findings and prepare inspection reports meeting industry standards and client specifications
- Maintain NDT equipment, calibration standards, and test records in accordance with applicable codes
- Collaborate with field teams and clients to deliver reliable, on-schedule inspection results
What We're Looking For
- ASNT Level II Certification (or equivalent) in ET, PAUT, and RVI disciplines
- Demonstrated proficiency with borescope equipment and optical inspection techniques
- Knowledge of NDT standards including ASME, AWS, and applicable military or aerospace codes
- Strong documentation and reporting skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Ability to work safely in manufacturing and industrial environments
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed for assignments
