About the Role
As a Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) technician certified to NAS-410, you will perform nondestructive examination of castings at our LaPorte County, Indiana location. This position places you at the heart of ATS's testing, inspection, certification, and compliance work, evaluating parts destined for demanding industries where quality and safety cannot be compromised.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Level II radiographic testing on castings in accordance with NAS-410 standards and applicable specifications.
- Interpret radiographs, identify discontinuities, and accurately document inspection results.
- Set up and operate radiographic equipment safely while following radiation-safety protocols.
- Verify that inspected components meet client and industry acceptance criteria.
- Maintain clear, compliant records and reports for each evaluation performed.
Qualifications
- Current Level II RT certification compliant with NAS-410 requirements.
- Hands-on experience performing radiographic inspection of castings.
- Working knowledge of NDT procedures, codes, and radiation-safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Eligibility to work on-site full-time in La Porte, Indiana.
