About the Role

As an OTR CDL A driver with Crete Carrier, you'll operate a tractor-trailer throughout the United States, transporting freight on established routes and schedules. This role combines the independence of over-the-road driving with the stability of a nationally recognized carrier.

What You'll Do

• Operate a commercial tractor-trailer safely and professionally across multiple states
• Maintain accurate logbooks and vehicle inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations
• Transport freight loads on assigned routes, meeting delivery deadlines consistently
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks
• Communicate with dispatch and maintain professional relationships with shippers and receivers
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during every mile

What We're Looking For

• Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum one year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Excellent time management and navigation skills
