As a Diversity in Business Peer Mentor, you will support and guide fellow students while championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the University of North Florida. Based on the Jacksonville campus, this position blends leadership, peer support, and community building, giving you hands-on experience that strengthens both your résumé and your campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a peer mentor and approachable resource for fellow UNF students.
- Promote and advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives within the business community.
- Participate fully in a required three-day leadership intensive program.
- Deliver attentive, professional service when interacting with students and staff.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student at the University of North Florida.
- Genuine interest in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging work.
- A UNF GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Willingness to complete the three-day leadership intensive.
Preferred candidates will also bring:
- Working proficiency with Microsoft programs.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
