Ribbons & Reeves is recruiting an enthusiastic Early Years Graduate Assistant to support a thriving infant school in Kenton, Brent, with this full-time post beginning in September 2026.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for a recent graduate to launch a career in education within a warm, well-established 2–7 setting. Located close to Carlisle Gardens and Mount Stewart Avenue, the school serves 301 pupils on roll and is known for its nurturing Nursery classes and a strong Early Years foundation spanning Nursery and Reception. As an Early Years Graduate Assistant, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to help young children take their first confident steps in learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers across Nursery and Reception classes, supporting daily learning activities and routines.
- Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for children aged 2 to 7.
- Encourage children's social, emotional and developmental progress through play-based learning.
- Provide individual and small-group support to pupils as directed by the class teacher.
- Contribute positively to the school's well-regarded Early Years provision.
Qualifications
- A recent graduate, ideally with an interest in early childhood education, teaching or child development.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
- Patience, reliability and strong communication skills.
- A collaborative, team-focused approach within an Early Years setting.
- Eligibility to work full-time in the role from September 2026.
