Crete Carrier is hiring experienced Over-The-Road (OTR) commercial truck drivers to operate tractor-trailers hauling national freight out of our Elsmere, New Castle County location. If you hold a valid CDL Class A license, have a year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, and are ready for a stable, full-time driving career with competitive compensation, we want to talk with you.

About the Role

As an OTR driver with Crete Carrier, you'll operate a tractor-trailer across the country, moving freight loads on consistent routes. This is a full-time position with a predictable schedule: 21 days on the road, followed by 1 day home for every 6 days worked. You'll manage vehicle safety, meet delivery deadlines, and maintain the professional standards that keep our operation running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently across multiple states, hauling various freight loads
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance
• Comply with federal transportation regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company safety policies
• Communicate with dispatch and manage delivery schedules responsibly
• Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation for each trip

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A license (required)
• Minimum one year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Clean driving record and willingness to pass background and medical screening
• Ability to adapt to time away from home on a consistent 21-day rotation
• Strong communication skills and professional work ethic

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive pay reflecting your experience and performance. Drivers in the top 50% earn an average of $101,176 annually, with rates ranging from $0.64 to $0.67 per mile depending on experience and qualifications.
