About the Role
As a Medical Billing and Insurance Coding Instructor, you'll guide students through comprehensive training in healthcare reimbursement, coding compliance, and billing practices. Your teaching will directly impact student success and their readiness to enter the medical billing field.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging, high-quality educational content in medical billing and insurance coding
- Develop and reinforce both technical coding skills and professional soft skills essential for healthcare careers
- Create an inclusive learning environment that motivates students to master billing concepts and industry standards
- Prepare students with the knowledge and competencies to secure employment in medical billing and coding roles
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to support diverse learning needs
- Stay current with evolving billing codes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable expertise in medical billing, insurance coding, or related healthcare reimbursement experience
