What This Role Involves
As a Millwright at our Pinetown facility, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and alignment of machinery and mechanical systems that keep production running smoothly. Your hands-on technical expertise will be essential in minimising downtime and ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency across the factory floor.
Your Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and disassemble industrial machinery and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems
- Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs or component replacements
- Ensure precise alignment and calibration of machinery components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified Millwright with a valid trade test certificate
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a millwright or equivalent mechanical role
- Strong knowledge of machinery operation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Injection moulding industry experience is advantageous
