Medical Writer – Remote US

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential oncology research organization seeking a Medical Writer to join their growing team. This remote position offers the opportunity to contribute to clinical research that advances cancer treatment and improves patient outcomes. You'll be responsible for creating high-quality clinical documentation across multiple therapeutic areas, working closely with research teams and sponsors to ensure timely delivery of regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit clinical documents for regulatory submissions, including Clinical Study Protocols, Informed Consents, and Clinical Study Reports
• Serve as the Medical Writing representative on project teams, establishing timelines and coordinating deliverables
• Maintain document version control for all Medical Writing study deliverables
• Act as primary point of contact for sponsors regarding clinical document development on assigned projects
• Conduct literature searches and reviews to support clinical document development
• Identify potential project challenges, timeline changes, or scope modifications and propose solutions to Project Managers and Sponsors
• Ensure thorough medical editing review of all documents prior to external distribution, including both copyediting and content review

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a Medical Writer, preferably within the clinical research industry
• Experience with oncology clinical trials strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of GCP and ICH guidelines
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to SOPs and guidance documents

Location and Work Arrangement

This is a remote position based in the United States. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available for this role.
