About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist at our Fort Myers location, you're the backbone of our patient intake and front-office operations. You'll greet patients warmly and professionally, manage our scheduling systems, handle incoming inquiries, and ensure every visitor feels valued and respected from the moment they arrive. This role is essential to keeping our Behavioral Health Services department running smoothly, supporting our clinical teams, and helping us deliver compassionate, coordinated care to those we serve in Lee County.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and excellent customer service
• Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and patient check-in processes
• Answer phones, direct calls, and handle patient inquiries promptly
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and insurance documentation
• Process intake forms and administrative paperwork with attention to detail
• Communicate with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate patient flow and care
• Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing when needed
