About the Role

Amazon seeks a strategic Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Regulation Tech and Assurance team. In this full-time position, you'll own complex technical programs ensuring our services comply with high-stakes regulatory requirements worldwide. This role demands deep technical judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into executable product roadmaps.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end technical programs that address regulatory compliance across Amazon's service ecosystem globally
• Partner with product, legal, compliance, and engineering teams to identify and mitigate regulatory risks
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on feasibility and implementation strategy for compliance initiatives
• Design scalable solutions that balance regulatory requirements with customer experience and operational efficiency
• Manage program timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication across geographically distributed teams
• Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and proactively adjust technical strategies to address emerging requirements

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably in compliance, privacy, or regulated industries
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and their technical implications (GDPR, CCPA, or similar)
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with high complexity and stakeholder visibility
• Strong technical foundation—comfortable reviewing system architectures and assessing engineering feasibility
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence without authority
• Track record of driving results in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
