Position Summary

The AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP) identifies and develops strategic partnerships that accelerate customer success and expand AWS's market reach. As a Senior Frontier AI Partner Development Manager, you'll own end-to-end partnership strategy in artificial intelligence and frontier technologies for Amazon's startup partner program across North America. You'll combine business acumen with deep technical knowledge to recruit, cultivate, and scale partnerships that bring cutting-edge AI solutions to AWS customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for frontier AI technology partners, identifying market opportunities and defining partner engagement models
  • Recruit high-potential AI and emerging-tech startups into the AWS partner ecosystem, evaluating technology fit, market readiness, and growth potential
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with partner leadership, providing business and technical guidance to support their growth on AWS
  • Drive partner enablement, co-marketing initiatives, and joint customer success programs to accelerate adoption and revenue growth
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape in frontier AI to inform partner strategy and identify emerging partnership opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS product, sales, and marketing teams to align partner capabilities with customer needs
  • Track partnership performance metrics, revenue impact, and program KPIs to demonstrate business value and optimize strategy

Who We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of business development, partner management, or strategic partnership experience, preferably in technology or SaaS
  • Demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other frontier technologies—either through technical background or deep domain knowledge
  • Proven ability to identify market opportunities, recruit strategic partners, and scale partnership programs
  • Strong business acumen with ability to evaluate partner potential, forecast impact, and drive revenue growth
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business stakeholders
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to define strategy and execute in rapidly evolving markets
  • Based in or willing to work from the New York City area
