This full-time Litigation Paralegal role at Amazon in International, King County supports the Litigation & Regulatory Operations team by assisting attorneys with complex antitrust, government regulatory, and intellectual property matters.
About the Role
As part of Amazon’s fast‑growing legal support organization, you will work closely with counsel to manage litigation workflows, preserve case integrity, and help drive efficient resolutions across a variety of high‑stakes matters.
What You'll Do
- Assist attorneys in preparing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses for antitrust and regulatory cases.
- Coordinate document collection, review, and production using e‑discovery platforms while maintaining chain‑of‑custody standards.
- Conduct factual and legal research to support case strategy and monitor developments in relevant statutes and regulations.
- Manage case calendars, track filing deadlines, and ensure compliance with court orders and procedural rules.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, exhibits, and correspondence in accordance with firm‑wide protocols.
- Liaise with external counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate information exchange and logistics.
- Support trial preparation by assembling trial notebooks, organizing exhibits, and coordinating witness logistics.
- Perform administrative tasks such as billing reconciliation, expense tracking, and status reporting for assigned matters.
What We're Looking For
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal support experience, preferably with a focus on litigation or regulatory practice.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with e‑discovery tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with antitrust, government investigations, or intellectual property litigation is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
