About the Role
As a Graduate Assistant, you will provide essential support to faculty, students, and program operations within the Department of Educational Leadership. This position bridges classroom learning with practical experience in higher education administration, research, and academic support—ideal for students committed to advancing educational excellence and leadership development.
What You'll Do
- Assist faculty with course preparation, materials organization, and instructional support for doctoral seminars and research methods courses
- Support student advising and mentoring activities, helping EdD candidates navigate program requirements and professional development
- Help coordinate program events, speaker series, and cohort activities that strengthen the doctoral community
- Contribute to administrative tasks including scheduling, documentation, and correspondence related to program operations
- Provide research support as directed, potentially including literature review assistance and data organization
- Assist with student learning assessments and program evaluation initiatives
