What This Role Involves

As a Medical Assistant at this Brentwood primary care clinic, you'll be the bridge between patients and clinicians, ensuring smooth clinical operations and exceptional patient experiences. This full-time position combines patient interaction, clinical support, and administrative tasks essential to keeping a busy primary care practice running efficiently. Core Duties

• Greet and prepare patients for clinical visits, including vital signs collection and patient history updates
• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with examinations, procedures, and patient care
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection according to clinical protocols
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure patient confidentiality
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and clinic communications
• Sterilize clinical instruments and maintain examination rooms
• Support inventory management and supply ordering for the clinic

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) or willingness to pursue certification
• Strong clinical fundamentals including vital signs, phlebotomy, and EHR proficiency
• Professional communication skills and genuine compassion for patient care
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinic environment
