Marketing Analyst – Growth & Analytics (M/F/X)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential foodtech organization seeking a Marketing Analyst to join their Growth & Analytics team in Paris. In this role, you will report to the Analytics and Retention Lead and serve as a critical link between data and marketing decisions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performance marketing monitoring: Track marketing performance and manage key KPIs, identifying short and long-term performance signals and communicating them to relevant teams.
• Ad-hoc analysis and channel manager partnership: Support growth and marketing initiatives by helping channel managers design and analyze tests, drawing actionable conclusions and serving as a strategic thought partner.
• Analytical tool development: Design and maintain internal analytical tools including scripts, dashboards, and automation to support growth team workflows such as daily reports, weekly meetings, and bi-annual budgets.
• Strategic analysis: Contribute to growth strategy definition including geographic and channel penetration, marketing investment allocation, and acquisition versus retention trade-offs with C-level exposure.
• AI implementation: Act as an AI champion to improve process efficiency by implementing agentic analytics and helping the marketing team automate existing processes.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, product, operations, and global analytics teams.

What We're Looking For

• Highly analytical mindset with the ability to read data and trends, then translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional rigor in your work
• 2 to 4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or performance marketing, ideally in e-commerce, D2C, or fast-paced environments
• Advanced degree from a business school, engineering school, or university with a specialization in data/analytics
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort with BI tools such as Tableau, Clarisights, or equivalent
• Proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar); SQL knowledge is a strong plus
• Organized with the ability to prioritize across multiple operational and strategic projects
• Autonomous and proactive approach—you identify the right questions as much as you answer them and act as a sparring partner to nourish team thinking
• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken
• Bonus: Interest in food, retail, or consumer goods sectors
