Product Manager – Financial Services

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Product Manager to join their Financial Services team in Paris. In this role, you will shape the vision and execution of payment solutions, embedded banking features, and financial infrastructure that delivers value to platform operators and sellers worldwide.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Define short and long-term roadmaps for financial service features within your scope
• Identify new capabilities and evolve existing ones to improve client performance
• Build and maintain market and product analyses to identify functional gaps and investment opportunities
• Manage, prioritize, and optimize the functional backlog for development teams
• Collect customer feedback and anticipate future needs
• Champion AI-native product practices using modern AI tools across discovery, specification writing, and delivery
• Proactively propose process improvements to increase squad velocity and quality

You will collaborate extensively as a product ambassador with:

• Engineering Managers and development squads during design workshops
• Legal and business teams to launch viable solutions
• Data Science and Product Design teams to integrate intelligent features into the existing ecosystem
• Marketing and Go-To-Market teams to drive launches and create training materials
• Product and Recruitment teams to participate in hiring and coaching other Product Managers

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• 4–6+ years of experience in Product Management
• Proven track record within a SaaS software company
• Significant experience with financial products and processes including factoring/cash advances, billing and collection mechanisms, payment systems, lending platforms, and embedded banking integrations
• Hands-on familiarity with API design and integration ecosystems
• Experience in a marketplace environment is a bonus

Skills:

• Product roadmap ownership and backlog prioritization
• Financial product expertise (payments, lending, embedded banking)
• Data-driven decision-making
• Stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)

Technical Environment:

• Product Management tools: ProductBoard, Heap Analytics, Jira, Figma, Hotjar, Zendesk, Slack, Google Suite
• AI tools and workflow automation platforms

Languages:

• French: Full professional proficiency required
• English: Full professional proficiency required
