Management Consultant Enterprise Architecture (all genders)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital transformation consultancy with a strong presence across Europe and beyond. They are seeking an experienced Management Consultant to join their Enterprise Architecture practice and help deliver complex business and IT transformations for clients across multiple industries.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects spanning enterprise architecture strategy, cloud transformation, AI readiness, and legacy modernization. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, to design and implement sustainable architectural solutions.

Location: Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf, or remote within Germany

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture strategies, governance models, target architectures, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and value streams
• Design business capabilities, processes, application portfolios, and platform landscapes to enable scalable digital operating models
• Develop modern information, data, API-first, integration, and event-driven architectures that ensure interoperability and business value
• Lead transitions from legacy and monolithic environments to cloud-native, modular, microservices-based architectures
• Guide clients through technical debt reduction, technology landscape harmonization, and IT migrations
• Design multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments reflecting requirements such as cloud migration options, business process resilience, and DevOps transformation
• Drive AI readiness initiatives, define architectures for AI-enabled and agentic systems, and champion effective use of AI tools
• Establish architecture principles, standards, processes, and decision frameworks for enterprise-wide adoption
• Facilitate workshops, apply agile methodologies, and ensure successful implementation of architectural changes

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 4 years of proven experience in Enterprise and IT Architecture, ideally across multiple industries
• Proficiency in leveraging modern AI tools to improve architecture design, consulting, and delivery
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, architecture governance, and maturity assessments
• Deep knowledge of business capability management, business-IT alignment, IT strategy, and IT governance
• Experience with business, application, information, data, integration, technology, and security architecture
• Hands-on experience with API-first, event-driven, service-oriented, cloud-native, and microservices architectures
• Familiarity with data management concepts including master data management, data lakes, and data mesh
• Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow
• Experience with architecture modeling standards like ArchiMate
