About the Role
As a Lunch Room Aide at Turkey Hill School in Orange, you'll support daily lunchroom operations and provide attentive supervision during student meal periods. This full-time position is essential to maintaining a positive school dining experience and ensuring every student feels welcomed and supported during their lunch break.
What You'll Do
- Supervise student behavior and interactions in the lunchroom, fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere
- Assist with meal service setup, food distribution, and lunchroom sanitation throughout meal periods
- Help students navigate seating, meal selections, and dietary accommodations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lunchroom environment
- Report student concerns or behavioral incidents to school administrators and food service staff
- Support implementation of school policies and behavioral expectations during lunch times
- Collaborate with food service personnel and teaching staff to ensure smooth daily operations
