About the Role
Figure is an AI robotics organization creating general-purpose humanoid robots designed to operate at human-level intelligence. Our data operations team sources and manages the training data that powers our AI systems. As a Logistics Runner, you'll be essential to our data capture operations, staging and preparing equipment and supplies that our teams rely on to gather the machine learning data that drives robot development. This position is a six-month fixed-term engagement with potential to extend based on performance and mutual interest.
Key Responsibilities
- Stage, prepare, and organize equipment and materials for data capture operations across multiple sites
- Transport gear and supplies between capture locations as operational needs arise
- Manage setup and takedown of capture environments and staging areas
- Maintain organized, inventory-ready storage systems to support continuous operations
- Identify and report equipment damage, shortages, and maintenance requirements
- Execute all handling and safety procedures according to established operational standards
Qualifications
- Strong reliability and punctuality with exceptional attention to detail
- Physical ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment and materials regularly
- Adaptability and effectiveness in fast-paced, constantly changing operational environments
- Clear communication skills and a genuine commitment to teamwork
- Background in warehouse, logistics, production, or operations (preferred)
- Valid driver's license for transporting equipment between locations (preferred)
- Interest in robotics, hardware development, or AI applications (helpful)
