Licensed Telehealth Therapist / Mental Health Counselor (Alabama)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential telehealth organization that delivers specialized mental health services to underserved adult populations. We are hiring Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMHC) to provide therapy via telehealth in Alabama.

This is a remote opportunity offering both full-time (25+ client hours) and part-time (15+ client hours) positions with flexible scheduling between 7am and 10pm, seven days a week. You'll join a supportive clinical community dedicated to affirming, accessible mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy sessions to adult clients via telehealth platforms
• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, or ACT in clinical practice
• Manage your own schedule with complete flexibility to accommodate personal needs
• Participate in regular peer consultation and monthly case conferences
• Engage with a clinical community through weekly drop-in sessions
• Maintain client-centered care while administrative tasks and insurance billing are handled by support staff
• Build and maintain a caseload with steady client referrals during your first 4-6 weeks

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Active, independent mental health license in Alabama (LCSW, LPC, or LMHC)
• Strong clinical skills in evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Interest in working with adult populations, particularly those who are neurodivergent
• Comfort with technology and virtual care platforms (Zoom, EHR systems, Slack)
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to client-centered care

Preferred:

• Telehealth experience
• Background in neurodiversity-affirming approaches
• Passion for serving traditionally underserved populations

Compensation and Benefits

Position Type: W2 employee, full-time or part-time

Compensation Structure: Fee-for-service model paid per session (the more sessions you complete, the more you earn). Includes 50% reimbursement for late cancellations and no-shows. Payment processed every two weeks.
