Legal Specialist Tech & Data (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential business law firm in Berlin that is building out its technology and data practice. In this Legal Specialist role, you will:

• Work on a broad range of matters relating to data protection, IT law, artificial intelligence, and digital business models
• Take ownership of clearly defined legal tasks and recurring matters that support client engagements
• Provide practical legal advice to help innovative companies navigate complex regulatory frameworks
• Support the structuring of software contracts, cloud computing arrangements, and digital innovation projects
• Collaborate closely with a specialized team on dynamic developments at the intersection of law, technology, and business
• Contribute to client work from day one with guidance from senior team members

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a Legal Specialist with:

• Successfully completed both German State Examinations in Law (at least 18 points in total)
• Genuine interest in technology and data law, including data protection and IT/software law
• Ideally, first practical experience in tech-related legal fields
• Curiosity for technology topics such as AI, software contracts, cloud computing, and digital business models
• Enthusiasm for solving legal challenges around digital innovation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to think creatively
• Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of team-based work
• Excellent German language skills and strong English proficiency
