About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential tech client in Berlin who needs a Working Student System Administration professional. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international, fast-paced environment where you'll be hands-on with IT infrastructure while balancing your university studies.

You'll be the go-to person for hardware and software support, helping maintain a smooth-running IT environment for the Berlin office. This role offers real responsibility and the chance to implement your own automation ideas while building practical experience in system administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first-line support for hardware and software issues across the office
• Provision and maintain Windows and macOS-based systems, ensuring colleagues have reliable, high-performance equipment
• Help manage local networks and assist with troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation
• Contribute ideas to improve existing workflows through customized automation solutions
• Support IT security initiatives including backup management and cyber threat prevention

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a university student and able to work up to 20 hours per week throughout your employment
• Practical, hands-on IT knowledge with experience in help desk user support
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, VLAN and VPN setup, and both Windows and macOS systems
• Programming knowledge is a plus
• Reliable and motivated, comfortable managing multiple inquiries simultaneously
• Based in Berlin/Brandenburg and willing to work from the office in Berlin Mitte
• Very good English skills required; German is a plus
• A formal degree or vocational training is not required—we value your practical experience and versatility
