What This Role Involves

As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll support our experienced chefs and kitchen team in the day-to-day operations of our kitchen at our Andover pub. Working in a full-time capacity, you'll contribute to maintaining food safety standards, kitchen cleanliness, and efficient food preparation. This is an ideal position for someone keen to develop kitchen skills within an established hospitality business, gaining real-world experience in a professional kitchen setting.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food items according to recipes and plating standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your assigned kitchen areas and equipment
• Assist with food stock rotation, storage, and inventory support
• Wash, dry, and store kitchen equipment and utensils efficiently
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times
• Support the kitchen team during service and peak periods
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
