Join Greene King as a Kitchen Team Member in Edinburgh, Midlothian. This is a part-time position based on-site where you'll be a key part of our kitchen operation, contributing to the preparation and service of quality food in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

As a Kitchen Team Member at Greene King, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues to maintain high standards of food preparation and kitchen operations. Your day-to-day will centre on food prep, cooking, and ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen reflects our commitment to quality. You'll operate within a structured kitchen environment where organisation, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential to delivering a great experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food following established recipes and plating standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
• Work efficiently during service, responding to orders and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Support inventory management and report on stock levels and food wastage
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
• Follow Greene King's health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times

Who We're Looking For

• A reliable, enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in food and cooking
• Food safety and hygiene awareness, or willingness to gain relevant certifications
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
• Physical fitness to cope with standing for extended periods and carrying items
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards training and feedback
