About This Position
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable bar and waiting staff to deliver excellent service across our venue in Maidstone. You'll play a key part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, whether they're enjoying a meal, a drink, or both. Core Duties
- Take orders and serve food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Maintain a clean, tidy bar and dining areas at all times
- Stock bar shelves, fridges, and storage areas
- Operate tills and handle payments with precision
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service
- Follow health and safety standards and licence laws
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables
- Support the wider team during busy service periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in bar or waiting roles (or strong enthusiasm to learn)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure
- Physical stamina for a busy shift on your feet
- Flexibility with scheduling to cover evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- Basic maths skills for till operation and change handling
- Smart, professional appearance
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess appropriate ID
