Greene King is recruiting a Part Time Chef to join our kitchen team at our Bloomsbury venue in Greater London. This is an opportunity to deliver exceptional cuisine in one of London's most vibrant hospitality locations, where quality and service excellence are our priority.

Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Chef to support our culinary operations on a part-time basis. You'll take a key role in our kitchen's day-to-day food preparation, cooking, and service delivery, helping us maintain the highest standards of quality and food safety across all dishes we serve to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes to established recipes, standards, and portion specifications
• Maintain rigorous food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness practices throughout the kitchen at all times
• Monitor and manage stock levels, track ingredient usage, and support inventory control
• Collaborate actively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures; report concerns promptly
• Adapt flexibly to operational needs and support kitchen colleagues during busy service periods

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience working as a Chef or in a professional kitchen environment
• Strong, demonstrable knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and catering best practices
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure whilst maintaining consistent quality
• A genuinely collaborative approach and willingness to support and mentor wider kitchen teams
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing kitchen needs and guest expectations
• Relevant food safety certification or culinary qualifications (or demonstrated commitment to obtaining them)
