Greene King is looking for a Team Leader to join the pub and hospitality team in Maidstone, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership position within one of the UK's most recognisable hospitality businesses, working on a part-time basis.
What This Role Involves
As a Team Leader, you'll take on a supervisory and operational leadership role within the venue. You'll be responsible for supporting the pub's day-to-day operations, guiding your team to deliver excellent customer service, and ensuring standards are maintained across all areas of the business. This position offers the chance to develop your management skills whilst working with an established hospitality operator that values genuine people and team collaboration.
Core Duties
- Lead and support team members on shift, fostering a positive and productive working environment
- Ensure customer service standards are consistently met and exceeded
- Assist with stock management, health and safety compliance, and venue cleanliness
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and promptly
- Contribute to achieving business targets and maintaining venue profitability
- Support the management team with administrative duties and reporting
- Help train new staff and promote development within the team
Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory, team leader, or similar leadership capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and manage people effectively
- Customer service experience in hospitality or a similar environment
- Reliability and flexibility to work the required part-time schedule
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
