Junior Technical Integration Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Junior Technical Integration Manager to join their Partnerships team in London (hybrid). This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their technical career who wants to own the bridge between partner developers and internal engineering teams.

Our client works with partners who embed lending capabilities into their platforms through API integrations. You'll be the technical point of contact who makes those integrations work smoothly—guiding partner developers through implementation, troubleshooting issues, and feeding partner needs back into the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Become the expert on the lending API—understanding every endpoint, webhook, and potential failure point
• Guide partner engineering teams from sandbox through to production and ongoing optimisations
• Review partner customer journeys and provide recommendations to improve conversion and funding rates
• Triage live integration issues by tracing them through logs and code, collaborating with internal engineers on fixes
• Own the technical relationship with each partner, from their developers to commercial stakeholders
• Build monitoring systems to detect integration degradation before partners report problems
• Analyse integration performance data to identify unreported issues
• Maintain and improve public API documentation
• Advocate for partner needs internally and influence the product roadmap based on technical feedback

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Degree in a technical or scientific subject (computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar)
• Understanding of how APIs work—sufficient to follow integration logic
• Clear, concise communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Analytical mindset that identifies root causes rather than just symptoms
• Commercial judgment to prioritise which problems and partners to address first
• Comfort using AI tools to investigate and analyse issues efficiently

Bonus:

• Experience in a partner-facing or customer-facing technical role
• Experience reading API documentation or debugging integrations, even on personal projects
• Basic coding experience

Pay

The target compensation range for this role is £32,500 - £37,500 base salary, plus a 20% quarterly performance-based bonus.
