Junior Marketplace Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in Grafschaft, Germany, seeking a Junior Marketplace Manager to drive product visibility and performance across major online marketplaces. This is a fully remote position within Germany, offering the opportunity to shape marketplace strategy for a growing digital retail operation.

Responsibilities

• Create and launch new product listings across multiple marketplace platforms including Amazon, eBay, and emerging channels
• Develop and optimize product content including SEO-optimized titles, bullet points, product descriptions, and enhanced content formats
• Maintain accurate and current product data including variants, pricing, and specifications
• Monitor key performance indicators such as account health, buy box status, availability, and inventory levels
• Open and independently manage support cases with marketplace platforms regarding listing issues, content errors, or account restrictions
• Implement marketplace-specific content requirements and adapt listings to platform guidelines
• Generate performance reports covering revenue, rankings, and key marketplace metrics
• Collaborate closely with PPC/Ads, graphic design, content, and supply chain teams

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable field
• Ideally some initial experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, or online marketing
• Previous exposure to Amazon Seller Central or other marketplace platforms such as eBay or TikTok Shop is advantageous
• Meticulous, structured working style with ability to manage high volumes of product data
• Strong understanding of digital processes, data management, and e-commerce ecosystems
• Proficient with Excel and other Office applications
• Excellent German language skills required
• Independent, solution-oriented approach with strong willingness to learn
• Enthusiasm for optimizing marketplace presence and driving commercial results
