About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential maritime intelligence organization seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive growth across Northwest Europe from their London base. Our client transforms complex trade data into actionable insights for industry leaders in the maritime, energy, and commodities sectors.
This is a revenue-focused role where you'll manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, identify expansion opportunities, and serve as a trusted commercial partner to clients navigating global trade decisions.
Responsibilities
- Drive portfolio revenue growth by managing key maritime accounts across Northwest Europe and consistently exceeding annual sales targets
- Identify, cultivate, and close strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with evolving client intelligence needs
- Serve as a commercial business partner, contributing directly to sales forecasting, multi-year planning, demand analysis, and pipeline metrics
- Gather market, product, and competitor intelligence from client interactions to inform product roadmap and commercial strategy
- Maintain rigorous CRM data integrity in Salesforce to support transparent forecasting and seamless cross-functional collaboration
- Negotiate multi-year contracts and commercial terms that secure profitable agreements while maintaining full compliance with company policies
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Extensive commercial experience within B2B account management or sales roles
- Direct domain exposure to the maritime, energy, or commodities sectors (maritime experience strongly preferred)
- Proven background selling data, analytics, or SaaS platforms within technology or data vendor environments
- Demonstrated track record of driving account expansion, generating outbound opportunities, and closing complex deals
- Strong negotiation capabilities paired with an active, proactive commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English
- Willingness to travel across Northwest Europe as needed
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on proficiency with modern commercial enablement tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Fluency in additional European languages
