Junior Fullstack Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading digital commerce consultancy based in Frankfurt am Main. Our client specializes in building high-performance e-commerce solutions for D2C, B2C, and B2B brands. They work with modern technologies and provide tailored solutions that drive scalable success for their clients.

We're seeking a Junior Fullstack Developer to join their interdisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with initial practical experience in React and TypeScript who wants to grow their skills in the e-commerce space while receiving mentoring and working on real client projects.

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Hybrid: 2–3 days in office per week)
Employment Type: Full-time
Language Requirement: German C1/C2 required

Responsibilities

• Develop modern, performant, and responsive frontends for e-commerce platforms using TypeScript and React-based frameworks
• Work within an interdisciplinary team alongside developers, designers, and marketing experts on migration projects and online shop implementations
• Extend platform functionalities using appropriate apps and integrations to improve user experience
• Implement requirements into clean, scalable solutions using modern technologies
• Support backend tasks including database structures, data migrations, and middleware integrations
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand and deliver on project requirements

What We're Looking For

• Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Engineering, Industrial Engineering, User Experience Design, or a comparable field
• Initial practical experience in software development through professional work, internships, working student positions, or personal projects
• Strong frontend focus with proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern React-based frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing, responsive design, and performance optimization is a plus
• Structured, independent working style with high quality standards and eagerness to learn new topics
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork, including direct client interaction
• Excellent German (C1/C2) and good English language skills
• Experience with Shopify is a plus but not required

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive for the Frankfurt market at this experience level.
