Head of Marketing

About This Opportunity

We are representing a profitable, self-funded software company that has been growing steadily since 2007. Their translation and localization products serve over 1.5 million websites worldwide, and they need a hands-on marketing leader who can leverage AI and automation to drive real business results.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world. You'll have genuine ownership over marketing strategy and execution, working directly with product, engineering, and support teams to shape how hundreds of thousands of users discover and choose their solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify marketing and growth opportunities and execute on them from start to finish
• Work hands-on across content marketing, SEO/GEO, email campaigns, product marketing, acquisition, and conversion optimization
• Build and refine AI-powered workflows and automation systems to increase marketing efficiency and output
• Use AI agents as a core part of daily marketing operations while maintaining quality standards
• Analyze data and business metrics to measure performance, identify what works, and drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deeply understand products, customers, and market opportunities
• Own initiatives end-to-end, from opportunity identification through execution, measurement, and optimization

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience using AI agents, automation tools, or advanced AI workflows in marketing work, with concrete examples of results achieved
• Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution—you can identify what needs doing and make it happen
• Track record of marketing technical products, ideally in software, SaaS, WordPress ecosystem, or similar industries
• Proven ability to connect marketing activities to business outcomes, with specific examples of impact you've driven
• Comfortable working across multiple marketing disciplines and adapting as priorities shift
• Highly self-directed work style—you make decisions, move initiatives forward, and thrive with autonomy rather than detailed instructions
• Effective in ambiguous environments where not everything is clearly defined from the outset
