About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential software organization based in Regensburg that is seeking a talented Frontend Software Developer to join their technical team. Responsibilities
- Implement screen designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with attention to detail and pixel-perfect accuracy
- Develop and optimize the frontend systematically for various devices and screen sizes
- Test UI components and optimize them for testability and maintainability
- Ensure digital accessibility by implementing WCAG guidelines and relevant accessibility legislation requirements
- Improve overall usability, standardize interface elements, and enhance user workflows
- Work within ticketing systems, test environments, and Git-based version control
What We're Looking For
- Completed training or education in frontend web development
- Strong eye for accurate design implementation and ability to overcome technical challenges
- Solid experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Bootstrap CSS framework
- Consistent workflow using ticketing systems, test environments, and Git
- Experience implementing accessibility requirements (BITV 2.0 or similar standards) is advantageous
- Understanding of and interest in open-source technology and collaborative development models
- Excellent self-organization skills with understanding of priorities and deadlines
- Fluent in both German and English
Work Environment
This position is based in Regensburg with flexible working arrangements including up to two days of home office per week. Our client offers gleitzeit (flexible hours), excellent public transport connections, and on-site parking.
