About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization based in Berlin that is expanding their development team. Our talent team is seeking a Java Developer to join an agile development environment working on enterprise project management solutions. This position is available in part-time or full-time capacity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a Scrum team to develop and enhance web-based project management software
• Design implementation concepts for new features and system modifications
• Implement developed concepts into the production system
• Participate in bug resolution and error prevention through comprehensive test coverage
• Support second-level technical support with customer-specific requirements
• Assist with system configuration and external system integrations

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent STEM field
• Excellent programming skills in Java and/or TypeScript
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in at least two of the following areas:
  • Database applications
  • Automated testing
  • Web Services (REST preferred)
  • Web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Build tools such as Jenkins or Gradle
  • Domain Driven Design
• Strong German language skills (C1 level or higher)
