Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential software development firm seeking a Java Backend Developer for their München location. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate on demanding development projects for enterprise clients
- Build solutions using modern technologies in an agile Java environment, including Spring Boot
- Take ownership of component development and testing, with mentorship available based on your experience level
- Write well-structured, readable, and maintainable code following clean code principles
- Participate actively in sprint planning and code reviews, sharing knowledge with teammates and remaining open to feedback
- Present your work to clients and incorporate their feedback into iterative improvements
- Continuously develop your technical skills and expertise
What We're Looking For
Our client requires candidates who possess:
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge and practical experience in the Java ecosystem
- Openness to learning new technologies and enthusiasm for working with innovative tools
- Methodical, analytical thinking combined with genuine passion for software development
- Team-player mentality within agile development environments with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting results to clients
- Good command of both German and English languages
