Intern – Onboard Product Design (Summer 2027)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aviation client for a Product Design Internship focused on onboarding experiences, based in Chicago. This is a summer 2027 internship opportunity for students passionate about creating intuitive digital products that serve millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Support the design team in creating and refining onboarding experiences for digital products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers
• Participate in user research activities and translate findings into design solutions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Contribute to design systems and documentation
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Expected graduation date of 2027 or 2028
• Portfolio demonstrating design thinking, problem-solving skills, and visual design capabilities
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Location: Chicago, Illinois

Pay
