Insurance Defense Attorney – 3rd Party BI/Coverage

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential civil defense litigation practice in their search for an Insurance Defense Attorney specializing in third-party bodily injury and coverage matters. This is a fully remote position serving clients across the United States.

You will manage complex third-party insurance coverage cases from inception through resolution, including:

• Draft and review coverage opinion letters, coverage denial letters, reservation of rights letters, and insurance disclosure letters
• Handle Declaratory Judgment Actions involving commercial trucking accidents, private-passenger motor vehicle accidents, and construction defect litigation
• Manage third-party insurance defense matters including auto negligence, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, bad faith, personal injury, and commercial general liability cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Conduct depositions and attend hearings

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience with third-party insurance coverage litigation
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar
• Proven experience handling Declaratory Judgment Actions and related insurance coverage matters
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented approach to civil defense litigation and insurance coverage law
