About the Role
As a Hospice Registered Nurse with HealthONE Hospice & Family Care, you'll deliver direct patient care in home and facility settings, managing symptoms, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing clinical expertise in comfort-focused care. This full-time position offers a salary range of $69,388–$104,083 annually, along with benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference during patients' and families' end-of-life care.
What You'll Do
- Assess patient symptoms and implement evidence-based pain management and palliative care protocols
- Develop and update individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the hospice team
- Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and volunteer staff
- Educate patients and families on comfort measures, medication management, and what to expect during the end-of-life process
- Document clinical findings, monitor patient condition changes, and communicate updates to the care team
- Provide emotional and clinical support to families and respond to urgent patient needs
- Ensure adherence to hospice quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Experience in hospice, palliative care, or acute care nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassion, patience, and ability to communicate with patients and families under emotional stress
- Familiarity with electronic health records and ability to document accurately
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient locations in the Castlewood and Centennial areas
- Commitment to person-centered, quality end-of-life care
