About the Role

Allegheny General Hospital (AGH), part of Allegheny Health Network (AHN), is welcoming nursing graduates into many of its inpatient units. As a full-time, on-site Graduate Nurse in Pittsburgh, you'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients while building the clinical foundation for a long-term career with Highmark Health. New graduates may join with either a Graduate Nurse Temporary Practice Permit (GN TPP) or an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care on an assigned inpatient unit at Allegheny General Hospital.
• Assess patient needs, carry out care plans, and document outcomes accurately.
• Administer treatments and medications in line with established clinical standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and the broader care team to support safe, coordinated patient outcomes.
• Participate in the structured enrollment and development opportunities offered to all Graduate Nurses in the program.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Holds a Graduate Nurse Temporary Practice Permit (GN TPP) or a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Eligible to practice as an RN in Pennsylvania.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and continued clinical learning.
• Able to work full-time, on-site in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County (this position is not remote).
