About the Role
As a part-time Housekeeper, Ambulatory Services, you will help maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming setting for patients, visitors, and clinical staff. This position is based at Lehigh Valley Health Network, 500 Plaza Court, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301, and works an evening schedule of Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Additional schedule details will be shared during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning, disinfecting, and upkeep of patient care and common areas within the ambulatory facility.
- Follow established healthcare sanitation standards and infection-control procedures.
- Restock supplies, manage waste removal, and keep restrooms and high-touch surfaces hygienic.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests to support smooth daily operations.
- Work safely and courteously alongside patients, visitors, and medical teams.
Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness in a healthcare setting.
- Reliability and the ability to maintain a consistent evening, weekday schedule.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a service team.
